On a warm spring Saturday, April 21st, the fans of Pogoń Szczecin gathered at the home of Portowcy to celebrate the 75th birthday of their beloved team. Despite some changes in the starting lineup due to injuries, Pogoń started the game strong with an early goal from Kamil Grosicki, which set the tone for a festive atmosphere in the stadium. Pogoń continued to control the game, but a penalty awarded to Stal Mielec in the 32nd minute could have changed the course of the game. Fortunately, the penalty was missed, and Pogoń ended the first half on a high note with a second goal from Grosicki, timed perfectly with the blowing out of the candles on the birthday cake. However, Stal Mielec came back in the second half with two goals from Sappinen, which made the game more challenging for Pogoń. Despite their efforts, Pogoń was not able to score again, and the game ended with a 4-2 victory for the home team.
